Can Financial Aid Be Negotiated at Stern?

Since this would probably not be explicitly stated on the NYU website, is it possible to negotiate a better aid package? If so, how does one go about doing so. I already have a great negotiator, my uncle, lined up. Now all I need is a negotiatee (Preferably Stern or a rep of Stern).

you're negotiating with financial aid officers. not with Stern. call the financial aid office.

Well when I call should I just say outright I would like to meet with you and negotiate or re-work the "aid" package, which is pathetic considering Stern's cost of attendance may be higher than any undergraduate program at any other school in the country.
