Been out of school for 5 years, looking for advice

Hello everyone, I'm a 26-year-old looking to go back to college after having been out for the last 5 years.

I originally attended a music school studying music business and left after 2 semesters, I was already running a successful business at the time and ended up getting "incomplete" grades on most of my classes during that time.

I then took several online classes through a state university while running into the same issue of ultimately not having the time to dedicate because of my day-to-day business, ended up with poor grades/incompletes.

I've since sold the business and have developed a strong interest in Neuroscience but am not entirely sure on the best path to get back into school

As mentioned, my previous grades are nothing to write home about and I'm wondering whether I should take a few classes online through a state university (located in NYC, so that'd be SUNY) before applying to a full-time program either in the US or abroad(shorter/focused programs have drawn my interest).

Time is also a concern, I've been looking into CLEP/Dantes exams as a way to expedite a potential degree path before what would likely be graduate or medical school.

I'd appreciate any advice anyone out there may have for someone in my situation.

Medical schools won't accept CLEP undergrad credits. Read the med schools forums here for some insight about what they want.

Unfortunately your previous transcripts will follow with you wherever you apply. Try to talk to a SUNY advisor or CC advisor.
