Regular decision?

jkirsyjkirsy Registered User Posts: 127 Junior Member
So NC state says it's rolling but I'm seeing everyone pretty much got their decision on the same day (1/23 I believe) so can we hear before the RD deadline or is everything coming out at once?

    EA applicants heard on 1/22. I don’t think RD is out yet.

    @chb088 I know RD isn't out yet, I'm wondering when it'll come out (if it's actually rolling like they say it is, or if it's a set date)

    Not sure where you saw NCSU is rolling admission but they are not a rolling admissions college. Like another poster said it’s 3/30 hopefully they will surprise us with an earlier decision.

    @sjms71 I just googled it, I don’t know !

    I also read that it was rolling admissions .... and I was becoming concerned.

    My daughter attends NCSU and my son is waiting for his decision plus we are local to the college and never heard of rolling admission for there. I just looked it up because I was curious where the “rolling” came from. The wording can easily be confused but it looks like international and transfer students are on rolling admission.

    @sjms71 After you commented I went and looked and that seemed to be it. Super confusing but oh well! Wish it was rolling though

    My son received a personalized invitation from NC State recruiter. Recruiter sent a paid parking permit for a day , and recruiter offered he can join the class with current student, tour the entire school and wants to talk about my son’s 2nd choice major...
    What is this mean? Good sign? Or just information?
    My son is out of state applicant..

    @vamom2022 Would you mind sharing your son's stats? It certainly sounds like a good sign but also sounds like they are going to try to woo him on his 2nd choice major.

    @vamom2022 NC State superscores ACT, is that correct? She had a 29 (31 superscored) and 3.85uw. I would love for my daughter to get into NC State. She did just get accepted to VA Tech but was waitlisted at Clemson. :( I guess the frontrunner right now is UofSC although we haven't even seen it yet. lol But, they have been the most generous with merit scholarship money. We are OOS for everything (live in CT).
