What is the correlation between numeric grade and GPA. Is a 90 average in a course an A (3.6, 4.0)? What are the numeric cutoffs for A,B+,B etc.

I'm not totally sure, but this should be a good estimate. I know that As are 4.0, A- 3.67, B+ 3.33, B 3.0 and so on. I think an A is anything 93 or above, A- is 90 and above, B+ 87 and above, B 83 and above... so on and so forth.

Unfortunately, you can't receive an A+, which would really be a pretty reasonable balancing mechanism for the system.

The gpas are correct, but they go out to the third decimal. So an A- is 3.667 and B+ is 3.333.
