Welcome Day vs. normal campus tour

I have several college visits coinciding and the travel expenses are quite pricey, so I don't think I can go to the Welcome Day on the 22nd. Still, I really want to visit NEU so I'm planning to register online for a campus tour sometime during April 12~14. Is a normal campus tour sufficient for a visit, or is it better that I go to the Welcome Day (even though it is very expensive for me)?

Go to Welcome Day. My daughter went to welcome day for EA admits in February and it was fantastic - you learn so much more than from a regular tour (which we had done before she had applied)
