2 day freshman orientation - well done

We spent 2 days at NEU with our daughter for orientation. She had a great time, met many other students (in her major and others), got to stay in "the dorms", signed up at student club tables, registered for classes with advisor, got a "free" hat and t-shirt, etc, etc. The parents program was informative, and we had totally separate programs from the kids. Although we're only an hour away, we're happy we stayed overnight in the dorms and soaked it all in.

This brings back nice memories from last year.

We too only live an hour away but are glad we stayed as well. We went on a long walk the night we stayed over and somehow ended as Fenway Park-it was only the third inning so we bought a couple of really cheap tickets and enjoyed the rest of the game.

I hope your daughter has the kind of first year our son had. I cannot say enough good things about the school-and he is pretty happy there as well. :)
