CS/music comp & technology?

My son was admitted for the combined CS / music composition & technology program. This is exactly what he wants to do - he is very committed to both CS and music composition. Can anyone provide feedback on this program at NEU, and specifically, the quality of the music composition component? He is awaiting decisions from BU and Univ of North Texas, and has been admitted to Oklahoma and Trinity U (we live in TX). He's national merit and has received some nice scholarship offers. We are really just trying to understand the quality of the NEU program and how it compares to BU, and also whether it is worth all the extra money (about $35k/yr I think after scholarships) versus free or almost-free rides at OU and UNT.
