GPA- 91
SATS- 2020, waiting on recent october scores
W- 710 M-640 CR-670

Senior Year courses: AP Physics, AP Lit, AP Gov, Print Journalism, Pre-Calculus, etc.
Junior year took AP Music Theory and AP Language and Composition

-Orchestra section leader and playing violin since 6 years old
All-state orchestra member
-Tri-M Music, Rho Kappa, Science, and National Honor Society
-Editor-In-Chief of school paper
-Member of online news publication Youth Journalism International
-Took classes on journalism at NYU this summer and got an A, with recommendations from the professor. Also took a pass/fail College Writing Workshop at NYU and passed.
-Captain of team and committee member of Relay for Life Event
-Work with AIDS organization based in NYC and getting personal recommendation from head of NYC operations.
-Founder and secretary of Model Congress Chapter in school. attended Columbia and Yale Conferences

I know it is a long shot to get in, especially with my grades, but I am hoping my extracurriculars show my interest in writing and journalism
