    Aside from downtown, don't miss other neighborhoods when you have time. Most of the nicest and most vibrant ones are north of downtown and along the lake, hence shorter ride on the Red Line than going to downtown.

    Lakeview and Lincoln Park were my favorites with tons of interesting stores and restaurants. I had the best chicken wings in my life at Crisp.

    I'll definitely get around as much as possible, but it's starting to get too cold for this southerner to go out that far :-D just kidding... maybe
