Work-Study Jobs?

For those who have received a work-study position in their financial aid packages, what time and how do they know what job it will be?

Is there a specific way to choose to work at a coffee shop vs. a librarian, as an RA vs. a janitor, or so on?

Thanks in advance!

You have to find your own job with work study. Fortunately, OSU has lots of choices for students with work study money. Once you're on campus, or even during orientation, you can start inquiring about a job. As a matter of fact- the Off Campus Student Services posted this on facebook earlier in the month-

ATTENTION: Work-study students!! Looking for an awesome job opportunity?!? Look no further! Join the Student Life family at Neighborhood Services and Collaboration (3106 Ohio Union) and serve as an administrative aide! To apply, email [email protected] your resume, class schedule, and work-study award. Starting now and/or autumn semester.
