Will I be notified if I don't get any merit scholarships?

I was accepted on Jan 9th and got my acceptance letter on Jan 12th, but I have not heard anything relating to scholarships since then. I wasn't able to apply until Dec 1st, so I missed Early Admission, therefore I have no real guarantee of a scholarship, despite easily qualifying for Provost and possibly for Maximus.

If I don't get a scholarship will I just be left waiting? Is there a specific set of documents that it is sent with so I can at least know that I didn't receive one? I want to continue with my college decision process but I want to wait until I see what I get from OSU.
