Cal U of PA Online BA Sociology: Social Deviance

I am considering getting an online degree in sociology with a concentration in social deviance from California University of PA. Do you think it would be worth it?

I am just about to start my career as a corrections officer. And a bachelors degree might help me with job advancement or maybe moving into a different position such as parole agent if I end up disliking working in the prison. I am a PA resident, so I wouldn't have to pay the out of state prices. I'm just not sure if it's worth spending the money if I can eventually advance with being there long enough.

This is something to ask the human resources team and your supervisor. What do they think about the program? Is there something they think would be better for your career path?
