What exactly is information systems? What are some career prospects for this major?

    Information systems is the study of complementary networks of hardware and software that people and organizations use to collect, filter, process, create, and distribute data. Well with a degree in information systems and a few certifications there are many different careers like system/network administrator, system/network engineer, programming....just about anything in computers.
