Political Science=hard to find jobs??

I am a immigrant student.
I learn political science becaus I would like to learn more about government politics and the background of current events.
However, many people said that it is hard to find a job related to this major. Is it real?
I just was admitted to both UCSD and UCLA as transfer student, but I don't know which schools should be the best for me since the job opportunities after graduation seem the same at both schools. I wanna become a high school teacher or find a government job in either state or federal level.

Should I need to apply a double major or minor after transfer?
I wanna double or minor as Fine Art or Film major because I am good at art.
I know that many people wanna enter law school after earning a Political Science BA, but I don't wanna be a lawyer.
