Hello everyone. I'm a criminology major and forensic psychology minor whose going to be a junior next semester. I'm currently enrolling for classes but I'm a bit confused on something: what exactly is a capstone course? I'm planning on taking children/family in the legal system because it's one of the options for my forensic minor but I haven't actually took forensics. There's no rereqs or requirements for the course. I know it's different at each college but can someone tell me a general overview of what it entails? Especially as a junior? I have to take a capstone for sociology but that won't be until my final year. Is it a bad idea to take the capstone for psych, especially as a junior (even though I have taken multiple courses on corrections/criminal/criminal justice? It's only offered once a year so techinally this is my last chance (because I have to do an internship my last semester). Sorry for the confusing question I'm just not sure what I should do and my advisor isn't helping out. Thanks!0 replies
