I've been a lurker here for a short while now and have seen a couple of students talk about their admissions to Ivy League colleges. Now, my question to you is, what are your achievements that got you in to an ivy league and what will be your advice to a 10th grader about to complete his O-levels 2 years from now on getting into these schools?

It would be great if you could list your:

O and A level result:
SAT/ACT score:
SAT Subject score:
Extra-curricular achievements:

^ Yeah, my ask (ask.fm / AltamashRafiq) should answer most of your queries. With regards to your question above, I'm just going to say that you should start working on your essays ASAP and get them checked by loads of your seniors. Be ready to accept unfavorable criticism because that will come your way. DO NOT APPLY TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Most people, without checking anything, apply to these schools, get accepted and then find out that they cannot attend because public schools do not give aid to internationals. These were just off the top of my head. If you want to know particular things, ask me on the ask.fm page.
