Reachers/grabbers for parents

My Mom is quite short and getting a little shaky so I don't like her climbing onto stools as much as she does. I was thinking of getting her a grabber but when I went to the Amazon site there were just so many choices! She also has a touch of arthritis so a grabber that requires a lot of hand strength wouldn't be good. Any suggestions?

Home Depot carries a green one by Unger thats pretty nice. It's a bit longer than standard ones. Easy to pull but when you lift cans or whatever it can feel pretty heavy and requires more strength.
