1040 Form Date 4/15/05 or 4/15/04?

For the forms I'm sending to Cornell (1040 from 2004).. what should be the year it's dated for?

I kind of need to get this out soon!

    if they want your 2005 & 2004 tax records that is what you send them.
    the form that was due 4/15/05 was from the year 1-1-04 to 12-31-04

    EK is correct. On 4/15/05, your father filed his tax return for the year 2004. This is what you should be sending.

    theonekid - I misspoke or mis-typed on the other thread. For copies of the tax forms your dad submitted for calendar year 2004, the correct date would be 4/15/05 as the others above have said.
