THank you to ALL who helped us plan our trip to visist East Coast Colleges! THanks to your suggestions and a reliable rental car, we are 2/3 done! BRown is the current favorite for its open curriculum, proximity to RISD, creative vibe, and campus beauty. biggest surprise was her second choice...Marist College. We really toured Marist to measure size, Jesuit culture, and a school with generous merit aid. What a surprise to find it in second place of favorites...above Williams and Vassar. Based on the current rankings, we have elected
To visit Brandeis and Tufts before we head home. ONe suggestion: although all of our hotels have been excellent, we especially enjoyed the Black Swan Inn, which is on a lake and is halfway betweeen Williams and Vassar.

When you visit Tufts, make sure to check out Davis Square (the top hangout for Tufts Students), including the Museum of Bad Art in the basement of the Somerville Theatre :-)
