college partnership program --?

The high school has a "college partnership program".
If student chooses to participate in the program, then the student needs to register for the program and attend the monthly meetings.
Registration form asks student number, address and a lot of other information.
Looks like parents have to attend a few of these meetings.
There is not much information provided about the program to parent or student.

Can anyone who participated in "college partnership program" at their kids school, can you please share any information regarding this program? Is it worth the time and effort to participate in the program?
Once student participates in the program, should this be mentioned in college applications?
will it appear in transcript?
will it help qualify for any scholarships?

Your best bet would be to talk to your high school guidance counselor about this. S/he would be able to give you information regarding the program and your school
