I'm trying to identify colleges that allow first years to start classes during a summer session (so my DD can ease into college life).

I know Penn State offers this. Any others?

(Most interested in colleges located East of the Mississippi River)

Purdue offers a summer start but I'm not sure if it's available to everyone or it's invitation only for students who need to catch up in some areas. It would be worth reaching out to them to ask if you can request summer start.

Notre Dame encourages it for athletes. All Florida publics allow it.
