Question to lovely, expert parents about NU's MMSS program

million$babymillion$baby Registered User Posts: 147 Junior Member
I'm a senior in high school right now and I'm applying to Northwestern for economics. I'm also interested in the MMSS (Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences) program, but I'm not too familiar with how the application to that program works with the application to the university. If I apply to MMSS at the same time as I apply to NU, and don't get accepted to MMSS, does that hurt my chances of getting accepted to NU for econ as well? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!
