    Bravo, Bravissimo!!

I would be breaking character if I did not put in a teeny plug for Brown ;) Go Bruno.

I think I'll have a glass of that champs too.

It is so wonderful to see all who have worked so hard and been so patient get such great returns. Congratulations! Obviously, your son needn't worry about Yale! Their loss, not his.

    Momofthree,
Congratulations! Am I going to see you at Pomona's parent orientation in August?

Thanks so much to you all!!! I had a really hard time getting to sleep last night, I had dreams of colleges dancing in my head!

IDad, I had read in previous posts that you really like the Claremont consortium. It sounds extraordinary to me, too, so much to offer! Little Mother, I may soon be calling on you for help!

And Susan and SBmom, I would very much like to be able to write you about Brown. My son is especially interested in three areas: music, classics (and other languages) and religious studies. The one area where I am uncertain about Brown is music. I know they have an orchestra made up of an assorted crowd, so I think he might get to play (he's a percussionist) but I was a little concerned about the concentration. Does it have a history/theory component? Anyway, my son has plans to travel to Brown in April. It is the only school of his acceptances that he was not able to visit. And Southwest flies directly to Providence from Nashville, which is not too far from us. One of my D's best friends from h.s. is a senior at Brown and she's loved it!

To all of you, thanks so much for the support. I have so much gratitude in my heart right now.

And it is my 49th birthday today! (I'd been a little fearful it would be a tough day!) A very happy birthday after all! :) Next year I'll be middle aged!

Hey who says we can't have cake this morning to go with the coffee we need from all of the champagne we had last night? You got some wonderful presents yesterday and it wasn't even an April Fool's joke.Don't worry about being 49, because of you are probably still beaming and younger women are probably jealous of how good 49 looks on you.

    Have a blessed day.

Thanks, y'all. Sybbie, you win the artist award. I have yet to move into the realm of color! Your post makes me think of fireworks, the bubbly, spring flowers, all things beautiful!

And to make this week perfect, I have been on SPRING BREAK!!
