I've been hearing about this program for minorities? I was wondering if you can just signup for this event or do you have to get an invitation first. Also, can someone give me a link about this program?

Lol I didn't want to post about this for fear of too many people registering and I won't be able to go.....agian. but since theres already a thread I may as well do what I can to help.

The achievers program is primarily for minorities as the program is hosted and organized by the
Student Minority Advisory and Recruitment Team ( SMART ). Im wont say that you MUST be a minority to attend but I can assure you that the minorities will be in the majority during their stay.

Also, Im pretty sure you have to be chosen from a pool of accepted student. I recieved the email two days ago. The email they sent told me to go to the following link for more information.

    www.admissions.psu.edu/achievers

Oh and as a forewarning you may not be able to access some of the info unless youre logged into you PSU account.

Oh, I see. Thank you so much ephenst! Yea it said the event is restricted until March 1st. So I'm guessing the people who were selected get to register first, and then it rest is opened up to public.
