Can I apply undecided while I have an application in

I applied into the engineering college but I'm worried I won't get in. Do they automatically transfer your application and put you into undecided? Should I apply as undecided? Can I do that?

They will not automatically change you to anything that you didn't apply for if you don't get into your intended first choice major. Penn State only asks for alternate campus selections, not alternate major choices. If you want to be considered for DUS rather than engineering and you don't yet have a decision, you can call admissions and ask that they change the major to DUS (undecided). You can still work towards an engineering degree in DUS.

If you are denied admission to engineering, you can ask to be reconsidered for DUS. Depending on enrollment, they may or may not let you. What are your stats?
