University Park does NOT have a school of medicine on campus. The PSU medical college is at the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.

    What is your question?

Are you asking if UP has the med school or are you asking if a student can be pre-med at UP.

A student can be pre-med at any school. There is no such thing as a pre-med major.

A student majors in whatever she wants, and then also completes 8-10 courses of biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics and calculus...which all schools offer.

Did you mention that your child is out of state for PSU? If so, can you pay full freight?

mom2, There is in, fact a premed major at PSU; why don't you leave these questions to people who are actually familiar with the school? (I believe one of the most frequesnt posters here is, in fact, premed major.)

And what business is it of yours if the child is OOS and whether or not they can pay? She didn't ask anything about financial aid in her post.

3bees, There is lots of information about the program at the website, including the Early Assured Admit Program to Hershey.
