hello, i want to ask you guys if i am headed in the right direction (sort of like a little brother, big brother thing). so first semester of freshmen year ended. i ended with a 3.66, and i did 3 EC's (writer for a science journal, biology lab assisntant, and a member of stem cell research advocacy group). this is total of about 20 hours of EC's per week. i plan on starting to volunteer in a hospital next semester.

the thing is i want to attend a really top notch medical school. besides my gpa, which i am determined to raise, what else do you think i could do to gain admissions into say jhu or upenn..

thanks in advance
