FSU vs. UCF vs. USF

I'm really wanting to get into UF's Vet Grad program, and I'm aware of the stats of only 88 seats. I'm also looking at the OOS Grad programs, but due to owning a horse, staying in Florida would be best (or I'd have to leave my boy behind!). if it came down to it, I'd go.

I am in UCF area, and may go the local comm college to save money and transfer to UCF- would Vet selection look down on CC? I have a 3.2 unweighted, and a 3.5 weighted, as well as a 28 on ACT, and a 1720 on SAT with Writing. I'm president of a few clubs, and work at a horse farm. I am looking to apply to clinics and start working vet animal jobs now for thar application. It'll be tough.

So it comes down to which will be looked upon better? I will get a Biology PreProffesional as my major. USF, UCF or FSU? And community college to save money or avoid it?

Florida State has much more established and respected science programs than either of the other two. For example, FSU has the oldest chapter of Phi Beta Kappa in Florida, which is a nationally recognized measure of academic quality (see: Phi Beta Kappa and fsu.edu | Phi Beta Kappa ).

Neither USF nor UCF have to date earned a chapter of PBK, though USF has tried at least seven times: USF falls short again in bid for Phi Beta Kappa chapter - St. Petersburg Times

    Hope this helps.

Thank you! I am aware of the fact UCF is a newer school, but would trading off the experiences for Seaworld, numerous small pet clinics, Large animal farms, my horse farm, Disney Internships for pre-vet experience be worth it? If I were to get the GPA with a BA in Biology PreProffesional at UCF would it be the same?

USF may not be academically harder, but they have a "better" science program... But no large animal experience, and a more developed Pre-Vet student body for competition.

Can't really help with the vet experience aspect but I would think any community with large and small animals would have at least some opportunity for experience.
