Will Exeter/Choate resend their Inquiry info?

I applied for Inquiry information like viewbooks in March, when I was still in 7th grade, and now I'm waiting for some schools (I think just Exeter & Choate, though) to resend me their latest viewbooks and application forms. But since I sent them out last year, do I need to do it again or will they automatically remail it to me? I've already gotten stuff from schools like Andover, Deerfield and Taft again.

Exeter is really late on the uptake *sighs* :P

Ohh and is anyone going to the Ten Schools Organization Q&A/Presentation in the Omni Hotel in Chicago? If you live in the area, that is. I think I am :) Almost all the schools I'm applying to will have representatives there. I got the invitation in the mail. :)

Yeah, one school said they would send me current information during the year which I apply...
But it's been awhile now... and i'm not sure what I should do.

lovelyskye, why don't you give them a call. If exeter is slow on the uptake, maybe look elsewhere.

frenchvanilla233, that's interesting, of all the schools my d inquired about when she was in 7th grade, the only one that would not send a viewbook and app was Miss Porter's. Are you female? is this the school?

Wow really? I applied for inquiry stuff from Miss Porter's last year and just got their latest viewbook and applications last week.

On a side note, I'm wearing a miss porter's sweatshirt! My cousin is an alumni (she goes to wellesley now) and she accidently shrunk the sweater so now it's mine :P.

lovelyskye, my d also received the MPS viewbook and app. My point was that in the 7th grade, she recieved all viewbooks except MPS. Did you receive one in the 7th grade?

Ohh I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I didn't receive viewbooks from both Andover and MPS in the 7th grade, as well. They just sent me this...brochure and told me they would mail me the latest stuff in the fall.

Hmm... weird. I haven't received any e-mails about my inquiry form from Hotchkiss or Exeter, but I have from Andover. Could it be Yahoo! filtering? Should I resend an inquiry form under another e-mail?

I received a small brochure from Miss. Porters about a month ago, and in the last week i got the full pakage. They said in the first letter that they would send the application materials in the "year of application". Then, in the second letter they talked about how now the school year has started they haqve sent out the big set of information (lovely, by the way).

I don't think you should fill out 2 inquiries. I don't think all the schools send an email out if you submit an inquiry. It should trigger an application from them. If you did not receive one after several weeks, you can email or call the school.

Ah, I see. However, upon finishing the inquiry form for Hotchkiss, I was informed that I would soon recieve an e-mail... Perhaps they were implying a different definition of soon?

In that case you might want to call or email them to be sure they have you in their system and to ask when you might receive the email. The inquiry form is generally trigger for Admissions administration to start a file for you. If you fill out a second form, it could add confusion.
