Sorry I just thought I should start a thread about it. I don't know about you, but I'm extremely nervous for mine!

Maybe some questions can be asked by others like me for the experienced people to answer...? (or maybe I'm the only one like this.)

My first one is, how important is the 25-minute essay?

lvillejane-my d interviewed at Lawrenceville last year (a great school, imho). Her interviewer shared that when they review applicants, they put their entire file up on a screen for review. He said they also put the essay up on the screen for everyone in the room to review, so it seemed pretty important to me, and they like to see SSAT scores of at least 2100. This was the only school where the interviewer asked my d about her SSAT scores and also the only school that was upfront about the SSAT expectations.
