I received two letters from Deerfield. One is from the department chair of english. He gave me a brief glimpse of the department and said, "We'd love to see you here next year, and join us in expanding our literarly realm." When I emailed him he said my essay was really articulate, and my teacher rec. was fantastic. Also I received another one from football. IT baiscally talked about the program (already talked to coach) and last paragraph it said that I should consider accepting the Deerfield challenge. On the bottom he wrote- that he would love to see me in the Big Green and White.
Should all this be taken as a good sign? DId anyone receive letters like these? Also I never mentioned to them English and football were my highpoints.
(PS- I got similiar letters from Choate and Andover)
