I don't even know what to think. Mixed feelings.

Having applied to only UWC and Exeter, I think I am very uncertain.
Exeter, probs, will reject me, largely because of my grades, though everything else was fine.

    Will post back

I know Im a longshot for most of my schools, and I am seriously starting to doubt myself after reading about all of these kids with 98th percentile SSAT's
  • confusedonhadesconfusedonhades Registered User Posts: 649 Member
baseball25 good to know someone else feels the same
NikDangles That's exactly what I've been thinking. I've been trying to reassure myself that's its not just about SSAT scores, but its hard to do when you see all the 98 and 99%s.

There's always the fact that not EVERYONE can have 99% out there...
Besides, AO's are NOT looking for ALL brainiacs or ALL war-torn orphans who play the tuba underwater.
As a person who did really REALLY well on the SSAT's, I can assure you that NOTHING can assure you of getting in, even a 99% overall on the SSATs.
Except maybe being a war torn underwater tuba playing orphan from Bosnia.
Overall, I was feeling really confident when I first applied...
After discovering this site, my self confidence was vacuumed down a black hole, sucked into the vast expanses of nothingness.
Yeah, basically I'm like a scared little mouse >.<

other than andover and exeter, all other gladchemms average ssat are somewhere in the 80s, so don't worry about the scores you see from all these ccers

My SAT score is slightly north of 2,000. (I'm currently a sophomore.) Scored in the 97th percentile for one category.

Yeah. I got a 99 and im still worried that i might not get in.

Purpleswirl I cannot agree with you more haha. I am doubting that I will even get in to my safety school. But if I do get in anywhere I will be pleasantly surprised, if not then I will already be expecting the disappointment

No problem NikDangles. So where is everyone applying to?
  • ameripenameripen Registered User Posts: 263 Junior Member
Exeter and UWC. The best among the best.
