Chance me? (sorry I know I probably shouldn't do this but)

So I'm a female Asian-American 8th grader in a rather well-represented area, applying to 9th grade at Exeter, Andover, Choate, Lawrenceville, Milton, Deerfield, and Concord.

I'm not really worried about my grades (nearly all A+'s, takes Geometry for math) and SSAT(99%tile), but really just the extracurriculars, which aren't half as strong as most other people's I've seen on this site.

1) Visual arts- I have been taking art classes outside of school for 6-7 yrs by now. Mostly, I do oil paintings and pencil sketches. I have placed in the top ten of a somewhat well-known national art contest with thousands of entries. (yes, I'll be sending a portfolio)

2) Violin- I've been playing it for 3 yrs with a private teacher and in my school orchestra, and am ok at it. (I'll be sending a recording to the schools)

3) Math team- I'm on my school's math team for the second year.

4) cross country- only ran this yr, but did pretty good. I was probably the fourth? fastest on my school's team, and ran varsity.

5) I'm in my school's Community Service club, but we honestly haven't done that much.

6) I've been taking some lessons for tennis, but I'm still quite bad so I'll probably leave it off my app

Essay-wise, I think I'm doing well. Still polishing them though. For interviews, I did the best at Choate, worst at Deerfield, haven't went to Milton and Concord yet (it's scheduled tho). My recs should be fine as my teachers seem to like me.

Thank you:))))))))))

    DSIFJSLGWRSG thank youuuuu

I mean not exactly lacking EC's just most of them aren't really gooooddd, like, the only EC that I'm above average in is art, and even then I wouldn't count it as a "hook"

And, yep I would trade portfolios (wait that means sending my portfolio's link, right?) except you can't access it thru the link yet since I'm using carbonmade, and you have to pay or something every month for that, and so I'm not paying until Jan 15, so the link won't work until Jan 15. (did that sentence make any sense?)
However, I'll totally send pictures of some of the art in my portfolio if you want:)

again, thank youuuuu. ya'll so nice

You have amazing scores and your extracurriculars are not lacking whatsoever. You have high chances of getting into those schools if your essays and interview are good!

omg your amazing :) your grades are awesome and your definetly bound to get in somewhere but don't be upset if your waitlisted. I was pretty much like you last year, in terms of being really rounded and I got waitlisted at a couple, but it's luck and it's based on who the other people applying against you are and how they want to round out their class, but you definetly have a good chance :) good luck tmrw :3

Hey anyone who cares or future applicants wondering what happened: I ended up getting waitlisted everywhere except Choate who straight out rejected me. I dunno how to feel right now. Maybe I'll try again next app cycle. I dunno, maybe by some off chance I'll get through the waitlist as unlikely as it is. Anyways, congrats to those who got in and good luck to yall future applicants.

    1) Since you were waitlisted at several places, follow the directions for staying on the wait list. In particular, send an email to your top choice.

    2) You can look into schools that have rolling admissions, if you really have your heart set on going to BS in the fall. Since you seem a little artsy, look into the artsy ones. Yes, I realize that you are a stellar student, but you are also a creative person, and maybe places that value that would like you too.

    3) Don't sell yourself short. You seem like a sweet kid, and you're very capable.
