Hi,
I am currently going into ninth grade at a public school in CT, and I would like to know what I need to improve on.

For 8th grade these were my final grades:
Algrebra 1: B-so close to an A :(
Spanish: A
English: A+
History: A-

I have been playing golf for 3 years, Tennis for three years, and I about to start field hockey this year. (I'm applying for 10th grade)
I will have really good recs
I will have a decent essay.
Unfortunately, my middle didn't have many clubs, and none of which I was interested in. Next year I hope to join many different clubs, like Model U.N, and Debate Team etc...
I know I need volunteer work...
SSAT: Practice was 99%

And thats pretty much it :/

So what do you think I need to improve, and what are my chances of getting into one of the top schools?

Thanks

Also, over six weeks this summer, I took geometry, I got an A.

And Next year my schedule is:

    Honors Algebra 2
    Honors English
Modern World History (Advanced is not offered)
    Honors Earth Science
    Spanish 3 Honors
    Photography
    Accounting

And, I've been doing photography for about 1 1/2 years now, it's become my passion.

    Thanks

I think it depends on what schools you're applying to.
