This was our family several years ago. And on the last day to make the decision, after much back and forth, DS concluded that a day student with a car had the best of both worlds.

As parents, we were indifferent. We could see pros and cons both ways, but they were pretty balanced. We told DS that this would be one of those decisions that was worth thought but not stress because there wasn't a bad choice.

I have been very happy for the experience and changes my 10th grader has had as a boarder.
