How long can this quote be? I have a few good quotes but they require 2 sentences from a paragraph in order for it to be powerful.

It has to be exactly 38 words, no less no more...im kidding obviously, and im sure that as long as u bring out meaning and incorporate the whole o the quote, that length should be fine. But pretend its an english essay on a novel say, if you dont explain or utilize the whole quote, then why use the part not used?

Thanks. The quote is amazing once in two sentences. with one sentence(5 words) it makes no sense.

Does the quote count towards the word count? I was assuming that it doesn't
