I am International student from good high school

GPA - All As, one B
SAT - 2270
Honors
1) Singapore International Science Challenge (National Representative)
2) Stockholm Junior Water Prize (Invited Speaker)
3) Korea Junior Water Prize (Gold Medal)
4) The 2nd International Conference on Photocatalytic and Advanced Oxidation Technologies for Treatment of Water, Air, Soil and Surfaces (Invited Speaker)

Extra Curricular Activities

I thought I can get in easily since Princeton is easier than Yale, but my school counselor does not believe it. There are two other students from my High school. But they have bad personality. I will be ANGRY if Princeton do not pick me.
Do you think I can?

Can a mod lock this thread and/or remove it; and can other posters not comment?
This guy posted the exact same thread on Oct. 21 and doesn't seem to get the message.
Might be a **** but seoheekim please go away.

If this actually isn't a ****, then your stats are good, but if you always have a pretentious attitude, then you will get rejected.

@BiologyMaster64 Why? I am Serious. I want to get in!!!!!

People think you're joking because your emotion is out of sync with reality.

" I will be ANGRY if Princeton do not pick me." so you're the special case? Look up decision threads of previous years. You honestly think you're entitled to be accepted by Princeton enough that if they reject you, your response will be anger. Wow. Do you have no common sense? PTon rejects ~94% of applicants. Who do you think these people are?

"There are two other students from my High school. But they have bad personality." If you consider THEM to have bad personality, they must REALLY be bad -- because you're no shining star yourself.

seoheekim, the right word to use is "disappointed", not "angry". I am going to give you the benefit of doubt since you are international. Beyond saying you are competitive applicant, no one can predict chances as there are so many variables - essays, recommendations etc.

Dude, your English is terrible. Your stats are fake.

Geez, you need to calm down.

To start off, the water prizes, if I remember correctly, aren't that prestigious. I have several friends with so-so science fair projects who got that award too. Second, you REALLY need to get a grip. Why in the world would Princeton want someone with that kind of attitude? Maybe English is your second language and you don't know what kind of tone you're conveying with your writing, but it's not a pleasant one.

You people have inferior complex. I was National Representative of KOREA to Stockholm Water Prize. Princeton do not see these post, so it does not care. My essays are GOOD. My English teachers help me, so you do not talk about my Enlgish. I will get accepted and laugh at you.

@seoheekim, you need to calm down and stop being overconfident.. Being overconfident = you will fall on your face... Being confident = you will do well in life provided you work hard..
Be confident and let THAT show in your application and interview... Try your best but be confident..
    Anything beyond limits is BAD!!!!

But I really think that you are the one with complexes... One who thinks his English is too good but spells it like Enlgish.... Come back to Earth!!!

There are so many things wrong with this thread -_-...

    1) Inferiority complex? Uh-huh. A lot of the people who have replied to your post, including T64 and BiologyMaster, have already gone through the college process and are on CC just to help future applicants. They've got nothing to prove, so you're only doing yourself harm by rejecting what they've got to offer.

    2) If international science olympiad prizes don't always guarantee admission, that prize you have won't guarantee anything either.

    3) In the possibility that you do get accepted (and I doubt you'll be able to hide that personality enough to trick the admissions committee), you're not going to fit in with the community here at all.

Any way you see it, the joke's on you.

There are some kids you really connect with and hope that they get into any or all of the top colleges on their list. Unfortunately, this is not one of them.
