Hey guys. I'm an out of state senior and I will be applying to UVA Early Action this fall and was wondering if you guys would chance me for admission. I'm a white male that goes to a very competitive and difficult high school (the top public school in California) which is why my GPA is not that high.
Potential major: History
SAT I (Superscored breakdown): 1530 (780 Math, 750 Reading & Writing)
SAT II: 800 French Language, 790 US History,
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): Ranges from 3.8-3.85 depending on which one you look at
Weighted GPA (Out of 5.0): Ranges from 4.1-4.3 depending on which one you look at

Essays: Pretty good so far. I would count myself as a pretty good, introspective writer. Mainly about how I can speak 5 languages and how that has/can help me. (I promise the essays sound much better)
English and US/Psych Teachers: Both should be pretty good.
Letter of Rec from piano teacher (who is also a college professor): should be great as she has known me for over 10 years
Counselor Rec: Pretty average tbh.
State (if domestic applicant): CA
Country (if international applicant): US
School Type: Competitive top public school
Ethnicity: Not a minority
Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): Can speak 5 languages, triple citizen, multicultural etc.
I know my EC's are not fantastic but I would back myself as a pretty good writer and so far, I'm pretty happy with my UVA supplementals. Thanks!
