I am trying to figure out whether or not I should submit my Questbridge application because I can't seem to find any information on whether or not Questbridge finalists who don't rank any colleges may apply to Yale. I know from reading Yale's page on Questbridge's website that those who rank colleges many not apply SCEA, but I can't tell if this applies to those who don't rank colleges as well.
A chart at the bottom of Yale's Questbridge page says "Students who participate in the College Match may not apply Early Action.", but I just want to make sure that they don't consider being named a finalist to be participation in the National College Match, as Yale is by far my top choice and I wouldn't apply to any other college, besides possibly Stanford, through the National College Match because I find the binding aspect of other colleges' policies to be unappealing.
I likely won't rank colleges because, from my understanding, the NCM provides a lower chance at being matched at an individual school (for example, Yale apparently only matches 17-22 people each year, which seems low), so it would be impractical to only apply to one of two (correct me if I am wrong). Instead, I would be applying to Questbridge for a combination of the abillity to forward your Questbridge application regular decision and the fee waivers to partner schools.
