What do my chances look like for (early) acceptance to Rice for business?

Rank: 8 out of 320 (Competitive City School)

    I think you definitely have the numbers to stand out. You're well balanced and have excellent test scores that would give admissions a long look at you. That being said, it's hard to guarantee anything for top schools, which I'm sure you know, so definitely have some backup schools in mind. And show interest, because that goes a long and sometimes overlooked way in the admissions process.

    Also keep in mind that Rice does not have an undergraduate business program (other than a minor), so you would have to study economics or something related if you wanted to go down that route.

    Hi ive been stressing out about my chances at Rice and i was wondering if anyone could give an opinion on my chances of getting in. Im applying for Chemical Engineering.
    SAT: none
    ACT: 34 composite, 35 Math, 33 Reading, 34 Science and 34 English
    SAT II: didn't take
    Rank: 26/870
    GPA: 3.97/4.0
    Extracurriculars:
    Football for 4 years Varsity as a senior
    Track for 3 years Varsity as a junior
    Key Club
    Debate
    NHS
    Mentoring of Freshmen in a school club

    AP Scores: Physics I (4), Lang and Comp (3), Human Geo (4), im currently taking AP Chem, AP Physics C both mechanics and Electro, AP English, AP Calc BC

    Notes:
    My essays were probably an 8/10, im not a great essay writer but i thought these essays were pretty good compared to some of my others.
