Economics major at SEBS?

Hello. I will be transferring into SEBS for Fall of 2012. I chose to go to SEBS because it was the only Rutgers school that I was accepted to. I am an economics major and that is part of SAS, which I plan on transferring into. I was wondering if there was any way I could be an economics major in SEBS? I have absolutely no interest in majoring in anything in the biological or science field. Thank you for the help :)

My friend's son transferred from Engineering to Economics. He took classes while in the Engineering school and applied to SAS and got accepted. You can take Economic classes, do well and then try to switch by applying to SAS. I think you can take any classes no matter what your major is. If you show that you can do well, they will accept you. Good luck!!

SEBS has a major in environmental and business economics (Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics (DAFRE)) but if you aren't interested in the environment then you may be better off doing well in SEBS and trying to transfer into SAS. I can't emphasize this enough though, do well in SEBS if you want to transfer into SAS.
