Wisconsin Madison vs. Rutgers New Brunswick SAS Honors Program vs. Rutgers Camden Honors College

Hi guys. So I am a NJ resident, and I have been admitted to University of Wisconsin Madison and Rutgers University at NB, Camden and Newark. I was invited to the Rutgers Honors College in Camden, and I also got into the honors program for School of Arts and Sciences in New Brunswick. I am currently having difficulty choosing between Rutgers New Brunswick SAS Honors Program and Rutgers Honors college at Camden. I have heard that Honor College is a lot better than honors program, but Camden has a high crime rate, and most who go to Rutgers Camden only stay inside the campus.
Also, I plan to enter Medical School after college, and if I go to Rutgers, I will have to pay approximately 10K for freshman year. If I go to Wisconsin Madison, I will have to pay 40k for freshman year.
My family isn't rich, and prefers me to go to Rutgers, but I find Rutgers' campus to be quite mediocre. Plus the fact that Rutgers is near my home, which is a place that contains some bad memories. A lot of people at my high school are going to Rutgers, and I don't really want to see them because they have left some pretty scary images in my head. Most of my friends are not going to Rutgers, and I want to move away from my mom.
What are your suggestions guys?
Also, is there any ways to transfer from Rutgers Honors College Camden to Rutgers Honors College in New Brunswick?

I don't agree with the previous poster. I would understand if you were choosing between Rutgers and an Ivy that cost $40k, but considering the fact that UW Madison is another state school, there's no point speding an additional $120k than you have to, especially if your parents aren't rich.

The Honors College at Rutgers New Brunswick is the Honors College that holds prestige, the one at Camden doesn't. In fact, the SAS Honors Program at New Brunswick holds more prestige than the Honors College at Camden.

Also, I understand that high school isn't the best time for some people, and that you would love nothing more than to never see your HS classmates ever again. But the beauty of Rutgers New Brunswick is that it has a student population of 44,000. Unless you go out of your way to find students from your HS, there's a slim to none chance that you'll be seeing them regularly.

The same principle applies with your family. If you go to Rutgers New Brunswick and dorm there, you'll have so much to do that you won't ever have to go home unless you go out of your way to do so. And because Rutgers is so large, it makes it that much harder for your mom to drop in and visit you unexpectedly.

Lastly, I understand that you'll be seperated from your friends because they won't be going to Rutgers. But unless all of them are going to UW Madison, you'll be seperates from them regardless. That's what enrolling in college does. However, new friends with similar interests can always be made, especially in a school with a student body of 44k.

For these reasons, I would strongly urge you to choose the SAS Honors Program at Rutgers New Brunswick.
