Despite it being a regional campus,Rutgers Newark has some nationally ranked programs and shares some resources with the Flagship campus that has many. WP is not ranked nationally and does not fair well even when ranked only against other regional schools. If you are ultimately concerned with hiring outcomes, one will likely offer you an advantage over the other. Having said this, I have heard R-Newark is mostly a transfer school so it is heavily loaded with Juniors/Seniors with a much smaller population of first and second year students. I am guessing, WP, on the other hand, likely has a large percentage of commuter students. My point being that these are very different schools & it will be hard for a third party to help you decide which is best for you.
