Would I be admitted with an eligibility index of 1044 (ACT)?

SDSU's average GPA and ACT for 2015 was a 3.83 and a 26 which is a 1026 EI. My CSU GPA is a 3.87 and ACT is a 27 which equals an EI of 1044. However, every year it gets a little more competitive. Do you think my GPA and ACT is good enough be be admitted for fall 2016 for the business program?

Business is one of the most competitive programs at SDSU but 1026 is probably right there in the mix. I can't guarantee anything but you have a shot with the rest of them. Good luck, I'm an Aztec myself and love it here.
