Oct 9 SAT and 11/15 Early Action Deadline

If I need my OCT 9 SAT score for an EA deadline of 11/15 and I receive it on line on 10/28 and then send it to the college, will they get it in plenty of time for 11/15? I prefer not to send it automatically in case I go down from my May score. Thanks

Generally colleges with ED and EA accept October scores and if you send them as soon as they come out you are fine even if they actually arrive after the app deadline date although likely yours would get there before mid-November In fact, majority of those with EA and ED even accept Nov test scores.

And for peace of mind, look at the college website>admission> ED requirements section and/or standardized tests section. It's almost certain to expressly state which test dates they will accept for EA apps. Under no circumstance should you get sucked into thinking you need to pay the "rush" fee the College Board would love to extract from you! As long as you timely request that the report be delivered, you will be fine.

October SAT should be plenty of time ahead of the deadline
