ACT Urgent Help! Please

CaretoLaxCaretoLax Registered User Posts: 3 New Member
Alright, So I just received my ACT score report and realized my nickname was on it rather than my legal name. I know applications require your legal name rather than your nickname. I was just wondering how big of a problem this is going to be. My real name is Johnathan but I go by Arron (ask my parents). Please let me know what I should do! Thanks

Did they not check your ID when you took the test?

They did but she only glanced at it. I'm just wondering if I should use my nickname as my legal name on the applications. I did really well and don't want admission offices not able to match up my scores and app.

    Your post is serious??

You registered for the ACT and you most likely provided your social security number and your school information. Yes?

It would a lot easier to email or phone the ACT than to casually change your legal name. Here's a link that might help: ACT FAQ: Send a Question by Email
