Corenll ACT and SAT?

I have taken both the ACT and the SAT. I got a 31 on the ACT, but only an 1830 on my SAT. My ACT is in Cornell's range of accepted ACT scores, but my SAT is not. I know that Cornell does not participate in score choice. Do I have to send both the ACT and the SAT or can I only send all of my ACT test dates? If I have to send both, will my SAT score hurt my chances?

    Cornell's policy sounds definitive, but it is open to interpretation. "Note that Cornell requires students to submit all scores from SAT tests taken and does not participate in the College Board’s Score Choice." You would not submitting scores and would not be using score choice. The twist comes in with Subject Tests. A number of Cornell have Subject Test requirements. As soon as you choose to submit Subject Test scores, Cornell would expect all College Board scores. Your SAT score would concord to a 28. That shouldn't negatively impact your chances. Cornell reads supportively and superscores SAT scores and takes the highest ACT composite. Your 31 will be your most important score.

    Though Cornell in the past has been particularly ambiguous about its policy, a page updated not too long ago now says you can submit either all SATs or all ACTs, https://admissions.cornell.edu/standardized-testing-requirements
