My daughter is a sophomore. She would love to know how to practice for the PSAT. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't have her practice for a 10th grade PSAT. It's just practice at that point. Once she gets results back, she can link her College Board account to Khan academy and that will help her with prep.

I suggest taking one of the many practice tests available, under actual test conditions (on paper, actual time limits, breaks, etc.) to be familiar with the mechanics of the test. That way she’s not dealing with the operations of the test while solving problems.

At the next level, going through the Khan diagnostic would be a good start. I would agree that a lot of studying isn’t needed. I suggest treating us as a large, real, extended diagnostic that can help in next year’s preparation.
