Can someone explain why the ti-nspire saves so much time?

It seems like a lot of people on here recommend the ti-nspire cas calculator. However, after reading reviews on amazon and google it seems like most people recommend others over the nspire. Is it really better than a ti-84 or ti-89, and how exactly does it save time on sat math I + subject tests?

For the SAT I, it's completely overkill; a 4 function calculator is really all you need.
For Math 2, it and Ti 89 are both superior to ti84, though any of those should be enough. However, ti 89 and nspire both can solve equations, which is really useful on math 2.

Lol, I used my friend's N-spire and couldn't even get out of the screen with a cursor (if you're even supposed to). No clue how to work that thing; I'll be sticking with my TI-89, thank you very much. I'm not too keen on calculators, but if I had to use one, it'd be that one.
