Huntington Learning Center vs. Kaplan

HLC dosen't tell you the price right away. I'm guessing it is around $1,000. Kaplan is WAY too much, (like 3000$ ahh!) but I wanted to know how the two compare. Both guarantee an increase in your scores.

If not either of these, what is the best SAT prep course? I neeeeed to take one!

I guarantee your SAT score will increase if you read this sentence a thousand times.

jk, I heard around these forums that Kaplan should be renamed Craplan. I have no clue what HLC is. But if you are motivated enough, you could probably benefit more from the Xiggi Method. You might want to try it out first seeing as it only really costs 15 bucks (the price of the BB2 from Amazon). What scores are you getting on your practice tests anyways?

heh I thought Huntington Learning Center was all around the country. I think a course will motivate me, and boost my confidence then doing it on my own? I don;t know my progress really by myself, and it gets discouraging. I WONT do kaplan. Too much. but my friend said HLC was really good..

If you need the course for motivation, then you should go for it. Unfortunately, I know nothing about HLC. Maybe someone else on these forums will be able to help you...
